This Block is dedicated to Catherine, eighth child of pioneer winemaker Anton Nichelini. Our newest red wine block planted in 2007 will début it's first harvest this year. We have great expectations for these Zinfandel clones, the newest to our vineyard. The Deaver clone is famous in the Shenandoah area of Plymouth, California, dating back to the early 1850's.
