This Block is dedicated to Inez Nichelini, twelveth child of pioneer winemaker Anton Nichelini. During the growing season, the day time high temperature is reached a few hours later in Chiles Valley than it is in most other parts of the Napa Valley AVA. At night, those coastal fogs finally reach the Chiles Valley and get trapped, keeping our nights much cooler. Excellent for Pinot Gris.
